WAG Open Trial – Development Athletes 

Thank you to all the families and athletes who attended our WAG Open Trial on Wednesday 21 January. It was wonderful to see so many enthusiastic gymnasts giving it a go and challenging themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment.

During the session, athletes were assessed on flexibility, strength, attentiveness, and their willingness to attempt new skills. Our coaching team was very impressed by the effort and positive attitudes shown by all participants.

What happens next?
Families of athletes who are successful in securing a position in our WAG Development Level 1 or 2 classes will be contacted directly by the coach.

For those who are not successful on this occasion, please don’t be discouraged. There will be future trial opportunities, and we strongly encourage athletes to keep trying. Development in gymnastics takes time, and persistence is key.

In the meantime, our Gymnastics For All (GFA) program is a fantastic option for athletes to continue training, building strength, confidence, and skills between trials.

Thank you again for trialling with Seacliff Gymnastics and for being part of our club community. We truly appreciate your interest and support and look forward to seeing many of you back in the gym soon.
